Allan Metrick has been representing individuals in matters relating to the planning and administration of estates, trusts and gifts for over 35 years, having practiced over 26 years at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, where he was Counsel from 1993 to 2008. His practice includes the preparation of wills, trusts and related documents designed to implement the tax-efficient transfer of the client’s business, investment, personal and insurance assets within the framework of the client’s wishes. Allan has extensive experience managing trusts and estates and counseling executors, trustees and beneficiaries and working with investment and financial managers to maximize after-tax returns for family and charitable recipients. Allan has participated in will contests and other estate and trust related litigation, including tax controversies. He also has counseled individuals concerning charitable giving and the administration of charitable trusts and private foundations.
